Stokke MyCarrierCool baby carrier for littlegummi

We knew we wanted a Stokke baby carrier from the get-go but as new parents and new to the world of baby wearing we were unsure of the options.
We purchased the Stokke My Carrier Cool one for two reasons. First being the durability. We opted for a carrier that would be great for outdoor activity and with the mesh design of the Stokke MyCarrier Cool baby carrier, this is indeed what we received.

The material makes for a very breathable carrier; however, when worn for extensive amounts of time, due to the aluminum bar in the back I do notice I will begin to sweat.
I gave the material a 4 out of 5 because while it does get warm, it is one of the safer and less hazardous materials on a baby carrier which entitled it to a higher score.
The Stokke MyCarrier Cool has a back and front position and contains a harness for both. This is an aspect that I was quite fond of because this allows for baby carrying from newborn to 3 years.
For front facing wearing this can be assembled without your Little, however for rear facing baby wearing, it can get a tad tedious.
This isn’t a sling that I personally like to wear on a day-to-day basis because the assembly is quite extensive with many clips and buckles. Due to the clips and buckles I would say comfort is not extremely high. I noticed when I did put my newborn in this carrier her head would hit the clip at the top causing discomfort for her.

We love the Stokke family and this is one of our favorite carriers for the older baby wearing kiddos.
